What is the PDF to Word?
PDF to Word turns a PDF back into a Word document you can edit. Cubestack reads the text and its position on each page, rebuilds the paragraphs, and keeps the fonts, sizes, bold and italic text, alignment, indents, bullets, links and images. Everything runs on your device, so private documents never leave it.

Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is read and converted in your browser, and the Word file is created on your device.
Will the Word file look exactly like the PDF?
Text documents come out very close. Complex layouts — multi-column magazines and tables — are simplified: table columns become tab stops.
Can it convert scanned PDFs?
A scanned page is a picture, so it has no text to extract. Those pages are included as images. If the scan already has a hidden text layer (OCR), that text is converted.
What if a font isn't on my computer?
Word uses a similar font. Common fonts like Arial, Calibri and Times New Roman are on most computers.
Does it work with Google Docs?
Yes. Upload the .docx to Google Drive and open it with Google Docs.
